I think we all understand each other no matter what our language is. Language is not only verbal it can physical. Even if we can't actually have a gossip with an animal, we still communicate. Majority of animals and humans have feelings and we all know that if someone or something is mad we know it same iwth happy or sad. You don't need a common language for this because humans and animals have been together for a long time.

Vegan would not mean which you will desire to guard them animals.
