it goes through your digestive system and is ummm...expelled naturally.
My son has swallowed tiny plastic things and even a penny once...went right through in a day or two.

Unless you swallow, say, a foot and a half of saran wrap, I don't think even choking would be an issue. For the tiny amount -- mistaken for ice -- you're talking about, well...this too shall pass.

It should be excreted whole. However, in some cases the item will get caught in the intestinal system, in which case you need to seek medical attention.
If you know, for instance, that the item is sharp, pointed, or large, I would go see the doctor. I had a friend who ignored his toothpick when he swallowed it and he now wears a colostomy bag because of the issue ... so please try to avoid swallowing items which are not food.

If it's small and smooth you should see it in the toilet the next time you take a dump. Watch out for it 4-6 hours from now. If you feel bad or bleed, go to the doctor.

depends what size it is,you see there are 2 parts of the foodpipe whhere it can get stuck. If it does, you will feel it there and if you eat/drink you will regurgitate what you ate/drank.If it passes these narrowings,it will get partially digested by the Hydrochloric acid in the stomach and finally end up wrapped in faeces and be excreted.
