Have you considered becoming a graduate assistant or research assistant while attending college? It would help with the tuition and provide in exchange for being a graduate assistant or teaching assistant for undergraduate students. There are more sources to locate funding for graduate school, too.

Both the college financial aid office and website will have a list of scholarships for graduate school. Also, there is a chance the social work website should list some.

Search Google.com and Yahoo.com for scholarships for social work in Illinois.

Also, join several free membership scholarship search websites. There are a number who list scholarships for graduate school including Fastweb.

Good luck!

Yes most states participate in some form of title IV E funding that provides funding for professional education of child welfare workers. The is usually a one for one funding proscess for each year you get funded for your must give one year back.
