In season would only be root vegetables. Carrots turnips swedes etc. That is what our ancestors would have been eating during winter up to 100 years ago. Easter was such a big celebration, because they could start eating fruit in the spring again.
With today's farming methods and heated greenhouses you can even get English strawberries quite late in winter, but they are only really 'in season' late summer.

Hi, I have a complete list. potatoes,kale,,jerusalem artichoke,chickory, parsnip, cabbage, celery,leeks, sprouts, turnips, celeriac, swede, pears, lobster,venison, pheasant. I included the last three, as these are all in season for december as well as january. enjoy. have a great new year.

Very little is still in season, pretty much everything is imported or grown in hothouses.
