Jonnies right.You've never really been away from god,that's impossible.Since all there is is god.God is reality.Of course a person can live in fantasy land.The quickest way to do that is to have beliefs.If a person wants to live in reality don't have any beliefs,don't think about the future or past just be still, be present. Be in the I AM be the I AM be the life be the truth and the way always starts right now, not in some fantasy land.

You are already connected with God ! You always have been even if you weren't aware of it!

The question could be " Is it possible to disconnect from God?" ... I don't think that even the worst of us, who are the farthest from God, can disconnect.

If you want to be aware of your connection just try everything you can to love and understand God more and you will understand the joy of life and this universe much more!

The whole universe exists in Gods mind ... that's what it is ... and that's who you are.

Hope you can understand;
Jonnie

Just keep on asking for God to show himself, and in time it will happen. It probably won't be anything like you expect, and the connection can fade away over time if you don't keep it up. So, just be vigilant, before and after and during. God is already connected to you anyway, it can be an interesting journey in discovering the connection. Little signs here and there, a scene in a movie might jump out at you, you might over hear a stranger say something significant to your life at one time. Its like a scavenger hunt, just have fun with it! It's supposed to be fun!

Absolutely it is possible. First of all, you want to seek a relationship, not just a connection. God wants to help you in your life and if you are interested in learning more, I encourage you to look into "the Purpose Driven life" by Rick Warren. It shows how to find the purpose in your life that God has designed for you, and the steps in this book (1 chapter per day for 40 days) will help you to find not only that connection but to find out how to develop a strong relationship with God.

Good luck to you!

Yes, by confessing with your mouth Jesus is your Lord and believing in your heart that God raise Him from the dead. Then you be born-again. God's Spirit will come instantly to live within you and you are connected with God in your spirit and carry on a relationship with Him..

Since you asked...

No. It is not possible to establish a connection with God. At least not directly.

Many fanatics will tell you otherwise. And you have the choice to believe their babble. But, nonetheless, you must decide for yourself instead of letting someone drag you through what they believe to be truth. Trust me, it's not fun.

In this way first you have to connect yourself with your own original real Self, as worldly us are the projected form of the slide of our original Self, that is still in the hands of almighty Allah.
This connection will lead you to connect with almighty lord, Allah.
This universe is a test run of the original real universe, it will come in front of us on hereafter.

It depends who or what you believe "God" to be. If you're like me, you see the work of "God" in the complexity and beauty of nature - physical laws, evolution, astronomical events. There is an infinite array of natural phenomena to inspire and tantalize humanity. I believe that, asking questions, pondering the mysteries of the universe, enjoying nature, being close to the world around us and helping to understand and perserve our world and make use of the opportunities it affords us help bring us closer to "God."
