Ice cubes do not sink in drinks when given space to float.
If you put more ice cubes in than have space to float, some cubes will appear to sink when in fact they are simply pushed down.

Icebergs float in sea because in sea the density is much greater than the glass of water.

The density of the drinks ( alcohol) is quiet less then that of ice
Thus ice sinks in the drinks
While the density of water is gretaer than that of ie
hence ice floats on water

The density of salt water is greater than the density of tap water due to the salt making the ice more buoyant in the salt water. If you poured your drink in a bowl, all the ice in it would float to the top.

attempt this. Water reaches its maximum dense state at approximately 34 ranges F so at 32 ranges (freezing) that's truly much less dense that liquid water. the two ice cubes and ice bergs will glide till they adjust from the solid state lower back to liquid.
