i've lost about 30 kg in 18mths by doing 2 hrs of cardio exercises at high intensity at least 5 times a week. However due to the long periods of workout, i'm starting to sustain injuries in my knees and can't seem to continue with such intense routines. In the past year i seem to have hit a weight loss plateau and it would be great if anyone could give me ideas as to how i can break this plateau without increasing the intensity or duration of my workouts (mainly different forms of cardio ex ,eg. running, swimming and cycling) i watch my diet well, and have modified it many times but that didn't help.

Are you doing any strength training? The cardio may get the motor running, but the strength training keeps it going 24/7.
Try that if you aren't already doing it. If you are, cut out carbs and sugars from your diet for 2 weeks to jump start your metabolism. Slowly add them back in.
Good luck, HTH

You will need to increase your calorie intake to stimulate your metabolism. Most dieters "go off" their diets for about a week and eat what they want then re-start their diet. Everyone reaches a plateau when dieting, the first few pounds come off relatively easily then you reach your plateau. It will be difficult for you, being a raw veggie vegan as you won't get the carbs and fat needed to jumpstart your metabolism again. Keep exercising and increase your water intake - this may help. Most of all don't be discouraged, keep up the good work. And lastly, you know how anorexic girls lose weight - by binging and purging, using laxatives and whatnot. Definitely not a healthy way to live. You seem to be on the right track with your diet & exercise. I wish you luck.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Try cycling calories! 5 days normal and 2 days of higher carbs. Also, do weight training and your muscles will burn more calories than usual.
