Are you still considered a kid when your 13 years old?

You are a child/kid until you are 18, then it is all downhill. Some 13 year olds might try to act tough or mature but they need to realize that once they turn 18 they can´t be a kid anymore.

I believe my great uncle considers my Dad to still be a kid... at 69. So yes at 13 you are most certainly a kid.... unless you are asking a group of 5yr olds who will think you are over the hill and have one foot in the grave already.

A 'kid' is relative.If you are 14 and talk about a 13-year-old,you won't say "the kid".If you are 50 and talk about a 20-year-old,you will probably say "the kid".If you are 70,you'll say 'the kid' even for a 40-year-old.
At 13 you are not a kid,even though most parents say you are.You are a kid from 2 to 10 years.from 10 to 12 you are 'pre-teen' and from 13 to 19 you are a teenager.

personally, i dont think you should still b considered a kid. im 13 and everyone calls me a kid. (it gets in my nerves)so anyway i think u should b considered a teenager when ur 13.

i think it depends on how the 13 year old acts,but when i was 13 i didnt really consider myself a kid because i was very mature for my age and now that im 14 im even more mature so i think it depends on how that kid acts.

Well this might sound a little boring but my opinian is that it depends on the mautrity of the child. If the child is an immature at the age of 17 then hes a child but if the child is very mannered and mature at the age of of 7 then hes not exaclty a child!!!

yes you are 13 is still very young. It may not seam like that to a 13 yr old but yeah your still a kid at that age.

yes, untill you reach the age of 18 you are considered a child, even the you are vied as a young adult...so yes you still have a while left to go before you are a "big person"

Yes, you are. But, you are also an emerging adult. At 13 a person could be a child one moment and an adult the next.
It is difficult for parents to know how to react at times.
