I've been fortunate enough to be that in love more than once. The first started at school. My earliest clear memory of anything in life is of sitting gazing at her face as she slept. (we were at a sleepover and I was around 6 years old. in around 1978) I loved her dearly and love her still. She died in a plane crash 12 years ago and, yes, I still miss her.

Another I met at high school and have been best friends since then but we just don't work as boyfriend and girlfriend. I only fell so in love with her in the past couple of years I think. We remain best friends.

Most recently was very incredible. I used to think love at first sight was just a mistaken lust at first sight. Then I saw this girl in December last year. I looked up and saw her smile and went like brain dead. No lust whatsoever. Kinda confused me actually considering that she is so beautiful. Whenever I see her smile or hear her voice my heart does backflips. I can't sleep at night from just wanting to be near her eg holding her hand and watching the sunset.(hasn't happened )
She is on my mind 90 percent of the time. Alas the age gap is too great and she and I will never be more than friends, but I cannot stop loving her so deeply. One day she will meet a guy and, as long as he's kind and makes her happy, I will also be happy.

Well you did say please tell.....!

I loved because I had no other choice...my heart was controlling me more than my head...I saw her God knows where and when...I did not even know her name or anything about her...all I knew was that I knew her before I came to this planet! I felt it deep inside! It just killed me momentarily! She dissappeared and took all my hopes with her...I said to myself...only an idiot loves a dream that never comes true...but God gave her back to me a week later! Now I know her name and habits and the way she talks and acts is very lovely. We are both into each other...sometimes we have some misunderstandings but we never split into two parts! We are always together!

Yes love is often times the handing over of will and reasonable thought. Just like religion.

When I first fell in love with my fiance I often lay in bed all night with bright lights behind my eyes so excited and unable to sleep at all.
