So there is a girl I have known for years. Worked with her and attended high school and currently college. She is very outgoing, like me. LOVES the Packers. One night I was having a Packer party and I came into work, talked her out of going to see a guy she likes and instead going to the packer party I had. She came and we flirted, at the end of the night I asked her what about a date?
She said to call her. Though I later canceled after finding out from a friend that she told him if we did go on a date it would only be one and she told another friend of mine that "She did not expect that from me". Am I in the friend category or by scoring a date am I on the fence with her; friend or considering relationship material? I know she is willing to hang out with me. Though Does she like me more than a friend? Where do I lie? I would like more, but I went back and told her just friends for now and we have been acting like we always do, just flirting and joking...

I say she genuinely appreciates your friendship and just wanted to hang out. She shouldn't be overly flirtatious either though if she just wants to be friends, because that is sending mixed messages and confusing you. And if you told her about just wanting to be friends and saying nevermind to the "date" and she didn't complain or say "ohh no I want to go on a date" then she probably just wants to be friends. I can tell she at least enjoys your company and friendship though!!!

Good luck to you and God bless! :)

you know what i did not liked from all ur story ? the fact that she is speaking to someone about ur date and what she will do . she says before the date that it will be only this one ? so most like she dont like u because otherwise who is she ? the fortuneteller knowing from before what will be ?
sorry but u should find someone else to care about !

U guys like the same stuff but it doesn't mean that she likes u. If u really want to know go and talk to her. But don't say anything mentioning that u like her, just be normal.

You're just friends, the reason she is happy to flirt and joke around now is because she thinks you just want to be friends so she is comfortable to be that way with you without misunderstandings.

Sorry babe. x

its hard to tell if she likes you ask her out straight then you will know for definate, why did u cancel the date in the first place if you got one, even wonder if your friend likes her too and he couold just be saying that it would only be one date, rumours can spiral outta control so ask her yourself and you will know for sure.

ok first off GIRLS DONT ALWAYS TELL HOW THEY REALLY FEEL TO THEIR FRIENDS!! i rarely do, if i really really like a guy, i never wanna tell my friends...then they try to tell the guy and all sorts of stuff...so dont take the friends word for it, they might have it either confused or she might not have told them right. i'd say go for the date, she might think theres only one cuz she doesnt think u like her alot or something. but GO FOR IT!!! what do u have to lose?

You still have a chance. Go on a date with her and take it from there.
