Should I desex my cat it’s a male and he still is a kitten but I’m thinking that his hormones would take over and if I want kittens I want them at my house not at the females house.

The best time to neuter is between 5-6 months. That way he is developed enough that it is not doing to alter his temperament significantly or take away from his secondary sex characteristics. It is always best to neuter or spay your pets.

If you care about cats you should get him neutered. A single male can father several litters in a year.
Cats die of disease and starvation in the wild. Too many in shelters are euthanized.
I took my male to a van called the Neuter Scooter and it only costs five dollars. It was done in one Saturday morning. It did not slow him down.
He did however, stop spraying! That was almost worse than a skunk.

Yeah, you should get him neutered. Male cats that aren't have the tendency to spray their rather foul urine around and to yowl and squall anytime there's a female in heat in the neighborhood. They also fight when they get out and can get torn up pretty badly.

If you want kittens the pound can keep you well supplied and a lot cheaper than you can breed them properly.

Yes all cats should be desexed. He will go wandering over and fine a poor female.

Yes. Unless you catch the female they won't be at your house lol. Also your tom will probably roam...more likely to get into fights or a roadkill victim (or dog chew toy). If you want more kittens go adopt some. Theres plenty at the animal shelter and on craigs list. Also mature male cats tend to spray. My dog chewed up a stray (unaltered cats tend to stray) who she tracked down cause he marked our tree.

why are there not enough cats in the world for you? neuter you cat. for reasons that male cat urine stinks and he can spray in your house and you will never get rid of the smell. and you won't have to worry about kittens or anyone for that matter in your house because it will smell so bad. for your cat's sake neuter him. male cats that are not altered will tear through anything they can to get to a female, get into fights, and are more likely to get out of the house and get hit by a car or attacked by a dog, or more common killed by your neighbor because your cat is spraying their yard up and they can't stand the smell, or the howling at night.

By all means YES.
As soon as he gets to a certain age he learns how to spray and then your house will stink. Get him fixed as soon as your vet says it is okay.

Absolutely. It will stop a lot of bad habits before they develop, and he'll be healthier in the long run. Thanks for thinking about this!
