This is a geometry question..some options left are triangle, tangent, midpoint, ellipse, square, and hexagon..i just cant figure it out..

I don't think it's "tangent." That's what you call a man who has been sunbathing. ::rolls eyes::
If "translate" is one of the options you have left, that's probably it. "Engineer" in this instance refers to a train engineer, not the kind who lurk in this part of Y!A. (A train engineer who can't spell, apparently.)

The other options are sufficient by themselves.
"trace a triangle, a line, an ellipse etc..."
But, "trace a tangent" will be before "to a circle"...
