2 years ago he broke up with me because i was around too much and he wasnt ready for us and he said he had self issues to fix. within to years he left the church band we were in together before but we sometimes walked passed each other at school. He graduated first. when i got sick and nearly died and he hasn't stopped asking for another chance but ive always been running away from him since we broke up. i changed my numbers for like 10 times already and i even left the church when he came back to the band a year ago. still he'd call me, text me, and come over the house but i continually refused him sometimes angrily. i was too hurt. sooo scared he'll do it again. i said no to his proposal. im sooo scared i'd lose him though but im just so scared to be hurt again that he hasnt changed. just 3 weeks ago he left for holiday vacation and dropped by before his flight. as usual, i treated him the same, then he stopped communicating. he's back in town. what does it mean?

It's time to move on. The relationship sounds too tainted for it to ever be enough for you to relax and be happy in.

Everything in this life is uncertain... so if you're scared all the time... you'd hate youself in the end... trust me, been there.

he's stopped communicating with you because it's possible that he met someone else during his vacation, or he's playing hard-to-get so you woud end up chasing after him instead, or he's accepted that you two weren't meant to be. It's only these three choices honey... so which one do you think it is?

I would give him another chance, maybe in the two years you two were apart he fixed the issues he was having and became the better person he wanted to become in order to be with you. Maybe he didn't think he was good enough for you or something. I know your scared, but everyone deserves at least a second chance. Wont you always wonder what if? In the end, you should listen to your heart.

Do you still have the same feelings for him like two years ago? And why he suddenly propose to you after he broke up with you? Do you really want him back?
I suggest that for now you should enjoy what you have, and have fun with life. Obviously this guy can't make up his mind, so I think you should wait and stay single. There aren't only one fish in the sea, you know.

if he is back in town and ask you again and it seems that you still have the same care for him but because of the things he did you just don't want to be hurt again, so its up to you if you want to take another chance which what love is supposed to be anyway, then give him a second chance but make it very clear and tell him what you really, really feel and would like to happen and hope things will turn out good for both of you!

Do both of you a favour: break up with him immediately and definitely. And don't have another "boyfriend" until you're at least 25. In the meantime have fun, hang out, and just get laid if you wish.

You have to decide. Is he worth the possible pain he made you feel before or do you believe there is someone else better out there for you. Trust your heart. And remember he got rid of you first. Maybe you just need to move on. That seems to always work.
