Why don't you sit down and ask him yourself. You know alot of things Christians do or the choices they make are conscious based.

Me personally....I think that it's a no no.

Good question. The only part about it that I think is against God is when they tell you that they will implant 5 or 6 fertilized eggs in you and you will have to abort 3-4 of them. I was okay with IVF but really struggled with this. I'm not for or against abortion and feel it's up to the individual woman....but I felt like it wasn't right (for me). In a way, it's like playing God. But for some, like me...having a child the natural way is impossible.

So it's really a tough question.

If the woman were supposed to have the baby, God would allow her to conceive naturally.

At the point where one would consider IVF, I think it would be best to consider adoption first. There are so many unwanted children already created that it would be in bad taste to force the creation of another child if the child was not meant to be in the first place.

IVF is a recently invented medical technic. Before its arrival, our globe was having only one view, it is the wish of the God to bestow a couple (male + female) with parenthood..."man can't deliver a baby.."

No! Its not playing God! But is a sign we are living in the last of the last days, as is seen in Daniel 12:4.

How could possible 4 thousand years ago a Prophet record so
implicitly the technology that is taking place worldwide today, when it didn't exist back then?

Among the prophecies of Daniel's concerning the last days, (and the angel does specify) the "last days.) He speaks of people moving about to and fro, and how knowledge would increase.

In Daniel 12:4 we read; But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

It is through the increase of knowledge, by which came many of Technological abilities and skills we have today.

Today, we are living in a period of time, where millions of people are moving about to and fro, because of the "increase of knowledge" that gave birth to Technology.

I'm a member of the Order of Rovin, and our view is anything that makes one reach fulfillment, in this case IVF, is a good thing.

In my opinion: It is only God who can create life. We use whatever method we can to get the sperm and the egg united, but if it were not God's will, then life would not then result. I don't see anything wrong, therefore, with IVF.

My god says it's 5 aborted embryoes per live birth. To be used only if you agree that the death of a multicellular human embryo is not murder (of course if it's murder in your book, you would probably not choose it).

You are not altering genes. I don't think it is playing God. I asked my pastor and he said no. God still can decided if the baby lives or dies no different than doing it naturally.
