I feel really nervous before hot girls and don't dare to appraoch them thinking I might get slapped. I cant make out what's the best thing to say while trying to make friends with a girl.

None. Forget about pick-up lines. The biggest mistake you're making is thinking too much - you're just talking yourself out of making a move. So, head her way without delay. Not sure what to say? Take some REAL notice of the girl as you close the distance and you'll discover the ice-breaker for yourself. But don't be a clone and spew out the same old sh!te that a hundred other guys hit her with - look for some aspect of her or her surroundings that's decidedly less predictable than her @ss, t!ts, legs or the weather. If nothing comes of it? Think of it as a learning experience. But if you get a conversation started? Listen to the woman - she'll tell you everything you need to hear to keep the conversation going. Just remember to keep it light, hey?
Finally, if confidence is your problem then fake it. Just don't over do it, is all. Fake it enough times and your confidence problem will be history. (You might not be the best looking guy in the world, but you'd be the only one talking to the women - and that'll do your confidence no end of good.)

Pick up line? No man, you want a conversation starter. Only Mick Jagger and Puff Daddy can throw an line at a woman and get her to drop her pants. And really, is that what you want? Get a girl talking to you so you can show off your wit. It usually works better if you know something about the interests of the lady. But if not, go find some silly trivia facts. Did you know that the baby on "Full House" was played by the Olsen twins? Did you know Michael Jackson's hair caught fire during a Pepsi video? Silly stuff that will make her laugh and get you two talking. If she finds you entertaining, she might just stick around and THEN drop her pants.

Don't even stress about a pick up line.
As soon as you see the girl you like, complement her.
On her outfit, earrings, rings, perfume..etc etc..And then if you wanna start a conversation, ask her where she got it. Example- what a beautiful necklace, my mom would love that, where could I get her one? After she answers, say thank you and introduce yourself. If it becomes ocward, tell her it was nice to meet her & then walk away.
Just take a glance at her and find something to complement her on. ( Not her body) her personal items she wears.

Smile nicely, say hello in a kind and gentle manner, how are you? If they turn their head away in a sneering manner then they are knobheads with problems about men and not worth the effort. A lot of them are just as reticent as you, despite appearances. You sound like a nice guy, try and be one with them, the nice ones will like you for it.

A pick up line won't work if your in a bar maybe buy a drink first and make sure she is single. Ask the bar tender about her. If not try going to church to meet girls.

Don't use any chat up lines. If she looks over at you just give her a big smile and if she thinks that your nice she will automatically smile back at you. Its easy to tell the difference between a polite smile and an i like you smile. : )

OK dude.. what you need is a little confidence... I mean be yourself... and just try to talk about whatever... LOOK... if you don't try anything you will go home with nothing... Right????.... NOW if you do try and she slaps you... or just says no thanks... or even the dreaded.... GET LOST ... you still are going home with nothing...... CORRECT???.... SO what do you really have to loose???? NOTHING!!!!!! Be confident and try to see what works for you....YOU WILL get shot down...... but my man your trying.... alot of beautiful women don't get hit on becasue most men are scared to talk to them... if you want to pick up a girl, then use a pick up line...
but if you want to be friends with a girl, just be yourself... you'll be fine.
do you think girls aren't nervous? We spend the whole day making ourselves beautiful, and why do we do that? to attract men of course!!! And if you don't approach us, we would think that we're so damn ugly that not one guy would want to talk with us. ... oh, just don't be sleazy ok?

I am going through the same phase, but I tried this line on a girl & it worked ;o).
I met her in a club and I said “I like you top, when she said thank you I said it would look even nicer on my bedroom floor”.
All you know, I was back at hers for the night and played a bit of cochin cooing.
