Not that it means much, but you get my award for most thought provoking question.

A mentally challenged person is only responsible for how much he/she is capable of learning. Whether suicide is automatically unforgiveable or can be overlooked due to the person's mental state is another question entirely. Let's assume it's unforgiveable, but a mentally challenged person commits suicide (God forbid) not knowing the implications. In my judgment, I can see where allowances would be made, and it's questions like this that make me glad I'm not God.

Mentally challenged or otherwise.....nobody is condemned to anything or anywhere.

Suicide is a choice.....homicide is a choice.....The Higher Power doesn't decide if the capacity of the mind or the emotions justifies an action or if the life taken is worthless or worthwhile.

The decision, belongs to the individual.

Peace!

I think that God would accept him into his Kingdom and then teach him why suicide is not acceptable. I think that this person would learn about God's love. God would not send him to hell. Living on earth with a mental condition is hell enough.

I have never read in the bible that any one would be condemned to hell for suicide, I believe that's a man made doctrine

The fellow already committed suicide, dies out of disgust, a situation that was created by the near ones! Thos who created such a situation should be punished and the one who don't exist!
