You ask them and they tell you. If they are not out it will be hard to know since gay people are just that, people, with all the wonderful personality differences all people have.

I dont think there is any specific trait to gay people. Some people keep being gay strictly in the bedroom. but I do have to say complimented men a little too much if you are a man or same for a woman, then maybe there's something. but i dont want to be stereotypical

They dont like talking about girls
They talk about homosex and related subjects
They try to convince that male to male sex is not a crime
If they look and behave so decently and never have used any of the above, they watch them carefully.
Gays usually pass their look at smart teen age boys wildly. easily u can identify them.
on the other side, if a person is very close to you and share with you, they first call you for masterbation, and compare the sizes etc

Sometimes you cant really know unless they TELL YOU, but there are some signs such as femininity or masculinity. They way they talk, act, walk and move.If they seem to stare at the opposite sex more or even be closer to the opposite sex to a certain extreme.But overall you dont really know until they tell you! :) Happy New Years

a good way to know if someone is gay or not is to ask them.but if u dont feel comfortable asking,then just watch there mannerisms, and the people they hang out with.

If they're a good closet case you might never know.
Talk about gays and lesbians in a conversation and see how they react.

You ask them... it is rude to assume anything about anyone. Unless you are talking about yourself... if you are attracted to the same sex then it is a safe bet that you are gay.

ask them if a couple of girls that are hot to you if he think are hot and if he don't agree then he either is gay or has really bad taste or dress sexy and see if he comes on to you

if they are they would know if they are not someone else
only they know if they are gay
