Like everyone is saying it depends on how bad your teeth are, i still have mine in and i got them on in the spring of 2005, but my ortho told me some good news that they will be coming off in about 3-4 months...i cant wait. Trust me, once they come on the time will go by so fast and it makes a big difference.

Its defferent with everyone. I had braces for 9 months and my brother had them for 5 years. It all depends on your teeth. My brothers teeth came in backwards and all messed up, I just had gaps and buck teeth. Its something that is decided per individual.

Could take years it just depends on how bad the problem is. If you are worried about the look ask about nighttime braces that are only wore at night.

i used to be a dental hygenist-- this question is different for everyone. Each person is different depending on there individual situation. You will need to talk to an orthodontist to find out about yourself. some people only need minor work & some need major work.. all in all it is definately worth it. a beautiful smile is very catching & important.
