Don't wash them! Most commercial mushrooms are cultivated and are quite clean already. Just use a slightly damp towel or paper towel and wipe them clean. Use immediately after cleaning.

You do not want to wipe with vinegar, nor wash with water. The best thing to do is to gently wiped them with a paper towel that is wet with water only.

You have? I've never seen such a thing. Mushrooms should be wiped clean with a paper towel. You can cut the ends off the bottom, but.... peel them? No.

I clean it or wipe it with towel.
sometime If you use water to clean the mushrooms, it will be soggy and change color.

do not wash them in water...it makes them tough...just wipe off with a damp paper towel...or a regular towel will work too
