JAYDEN!! I've never owned a dog but when I name pets, I'd never name a pet with a name that I wouldn't name a person. In otherwords, I would never name a person Chubby but Jayden would be an okay name.

I say Jayden. Chubby sounds too prissy and makes the dog seem fat.

Jayden. Chubby makes me think fat. you wouldn't name your dog "fat" would you?! i like people names for dogs. it makes them more human like. maybe thats just because i love to pamper my Cryssy (she's sitting on my lap right now), but they are like part of the family.

I think you should reserve people names for people..........Chubby is a very cute name!

My advice: Don't name him Chubby....I named one of my dog's that, and I lived to regret it. In the long run, he was "skinny".
I should've named him Brillo Pad.....Poodle terrrier mix. :-)

ive learned to say CHA or CHI when they ,3 dogs are about to do some thing wrong. they catch that sound better. hard consonants? So that wouldn't work for me. say different sounds
try saying 3-letter sounds and see what makes his tail stand up and alert. once my daughter named her pup 'mo-mo', mistake. it sounds like: 'no-no'.
