I have a lutino cockatiel and when I bought her I was not told her age. Here is a link to a photo of her if it helps:

I've had her for about 2 years now and she hasn't changed in energy levels or anything. I'm just wondering if there is a way to figure out her age outside taking her to the vet.

Teach her to talk and maybe she'll tell you but you know ladies don't like to divulge their age.

What you do is you have to feel under her with your finger at her vent where she poops from. You should be able to feel two small bones. Now, If the two bones are close together then you have a male if the two bones are apart then female. Check with a breeder in your area they would know because that's a breeders job to know. Take the Cockatiel to a breeder to check if you can't yourself.

If you've had her for two years, you've surely visited the vet at least once. Just call the vet and he or she can probably give you an estimate.

cute bird. how you tell the age of your bird is to go to the vet to have a blood test done and you can also see if its a boy or girl. hope to be of help.
