I'm just looking for some healthy ways to shed some pounds as a teen.

I would also like to know some exercises that I can simply do around the house. Like while study for a test.

I'm 5'3" and 130 - 135.

First of all if ur a couple of pounds overweight...i wouldnt worry about it too much cuz ur still growing and gettin taller..and when you get taller ur body looks better....cuz all the fat stretches

But if ur really worried then just do like 50 sit ups each night for about 2 months...and ull feel the difference..

Also try to eat healthy....and everytime u eat food make sure it is low in calories....cuz calories are the biggest fat..in the foods..

=] hope i helped
~~GOOD LUCK~~

i was just 13 last year. Stay away from junk foods and fast foods (even subway). Replace soda with water. Don't eat too much bread and pastas. When eating meats, avoid any red meat..they're bad for you.Moving as much as you can will get you burning calories. I know for a fact that in middle schools, there's no really much sports so at lunch time, go out and play a sports game with your friend. In your free time, (during the weekdays), go to gym or get some workout videos. During the weekends and the vacations, go out side and jog/run/walk/bike. You can go swimming/surfing at the beach. Keep your calorie consumation the same and burn them off. Don't drastically cut your calories (trust me from expiernnce)...it will do damage to your body.

Walk everday, also drink plenty of milk and water. Take a daily
vitamin. Eat meals consisting of one serving of meat,
two vegetables, limit breads and cheeses or any heavy cream. Try eggs
and orange juice for breakfast. A light lunch.
Salads and fruits. Absolutely no sodas, no fast food, and no chips or
processed meats. When cooking dinner avoid pre-cooked
meals and try to use fresh or frozen vegetables in place of boxed
and canned foods.

Join a team sport at your school. It will also keep you from getting in trouble. Make sure it is something you see yourself doing throughout high school, that way you can commit and kick *** in it.
