explain quite calmly to him/her how there needs to be one person in the relationship who has the last say and that person is you...
explain how you only want what is best for each of you and the relationship... and that is only possible if he/she allows you the control to do just that...
Of course say all of this with a big silly grin on your face and then duck real fast when the punch comes.....

well if it is I will answer but if you want to be boss I wont answer control freaks!!
now if she is bossy & wont let you go out with your mates at least once a week tell her you are going because you need time with your mates without women around
tell her you love her & that she needs to have time for herself as well
& if she is bossy around the house telling you what to do say i love you but you have to stop being like my mother

ouch...got wooped huh? ok, act indifferent...that means that if they say something like..."if you dont do *this* or *that*, then i wont talk to you for a week", you say "alright then, talk to ya in a week" and walk away. now, this is a touchy way to do it, cuz they will either get mad and dump you for not being their little pet, or they will see that you dont care and start trying to please you. but if they dump you just cuz you didnt do what they wanted....then they most likely will not have many more relationships...

why would you want to be bos in a relationship. you should try to be equals... a relationship isnt a job.
treat her like she should be treated and ask for the same.

Go out and do your thing and stop worrying about what he or she says. It's simple, you gain strength and stop depending so much. Once you do that, they will become yours again. If not, then they never loved you in the first place.
