my step mother is a huge ***** how can i handle her and get her to stop yelling at me?

Tell her how you feel and if in the end that doesn't change anything then just ignore it. Tune it out when she is yelling and act like you are listening. Don't let her get to you, I know, my mom is the same way and i'm 24!! She wants to control my life and plan my every move, but now that we are not on speaking terms she is trying to convince me that everything is ok, but i'm just not buyin it...I don't really think that was great advice, I just want to let you know that you are not alone and sometimes the bitchy mom syndrome lasts forever!!

This could be a couple of things try and think if they apply to you.
are you daddys little girl always getting what you want?
are you lazy?
are you rude to her?
does she have other kids that live there that are hers?
some adults act like kids themselves and really should grow up.
The best advice I can give you is always be seen to be doing the right thing, this will depend on your age as well though.
Example could be when its dinner time ask can you help amybe just set the table, clear the table rinse the dishes, take out the trash, ask can you help with the washing, can you vaccum etc, if you pick a couple of things that you know you can do, then offer to do them. Always be polite and keep conversation to a minium, if your polite and notn rude she will find it really hard to be rude to you. Your dad must like this woman a great deal, you can always ask him what he thinks you could do in the future that you are not doing now to help out, he should know as most adults disscuss what their problems are. If you dont change the situation at all by doing all that I have suggested then you can tell her, thanks for being a great role model in your life, because she has become one of your teachers on life and this is how you will be treating your children . Good luck but please have a serious look at yourself and dont be selfish with your thoughts see if you really can help out.

Verbal abuse is not to be tolerated. That means she needs to stop it and you shouldn't do it as well.
Communicate with notes if possible (leave a box out to drop notes in) and don't resort to yelling or name calling or threats. Counseling can help so can communication books try to find some online or at your library. You do not have to withstand verbal abuse, you can choose to remove yourself from the drama by going outdoors or to your room for sanctuary. Do not allow yourself to be drawn into an argument.

umm you know normaly pepole don't yell at you for no reason. What did you do to make her yell. Was you doing anything wrong? Had she asked you to do something and you hadn't. If so then I suggest you start listing and doing as told if not then talk with your father.

try explaining to her that first of all that she doesn't need to yell because you are right there with her and second of all....if she has a problem to try to talk it out with you without an attitude instead of "blowing everything out of proportion" all the time.

have you tried looking at your self maybe you are the reason she yell at you maybe you treat her like crap. if you show her respect she will show you respect you and her need to sit down and talk. she is apart of your life now so you and her need to get alone.
