I used to swear by it, when I had short hair. It also works fairly well on longer hair, if you want a piecy, choppy sort of look. It smells pretty decent (kind of like vanilla pudding, but pretty neutral), and it doesn't make your hair hard or greasy or shiny.

It's really easy to apply to dry hair - you will need to wash your hands pretty thoroughly afterwards, it's pretty goopy stuff.

It's not cheap - about $15 for a jar, but it's good stuff, and you don't need to use much.

When I had my short, messy look going on, I swore by Tigi. Awesome stuff, especially for short hair because you can piece together where you want specific pieces. That made no sense, but the stuff is great and works well. Expensive, but worth it!
