Hi, I´m German and I had to grin about this. Firstly, it´s - as some had already supposed - "Dicke" :) meaning "fatty" in English. It is very colloquial and you would use it as a pet name. It is not used to say that somebody IS fat, you would rather use it to banter with somebody in a very familiar way. I hope, I put the last words right. It is often used when you like someone very much.

Hope it helped you :)

Der Wienerschnitzel! Joking. Mmm... I think you should ask your mother, though, 'cause "digga" isn't a word in the German dictionary... I don't know what it means. Sorry.

well i think ganja_claus might be right. digga is written dicker in german which is actually the male word for "fatty" but maybe he pronounces it a little different so it is dicke (female). i wouldn't say dicke(r) is like sweety, it is often used by couples who've been together for a long time. it can be insulting but i think in this case, it's not.

digga

german term which got absolutely nothing to do with the word *****!
came up at the mid/late 90s german hip hop wave.
mostly used by north-german (hamburg) rappers like "das bo".

"was geht digga - whats up man"

I agree that although it sounds like "digga", it does not necessarily mean thatit is the correct spelling. If you can find out the right spelling, people can help you more, I think though like someone else said, it is a pet name between them.

Digga sounds like calling someone "Fatty"
in German it would be spelled "Dicke"....
In Germany lotsa people call the loved ones "Fatty" - just another way of calling them "Cuty" or "Sweaty" or something along those lines.
She could be calling him "dicker" (sounds like dick-air) in return.
LOL
