Yes, the exercises are fine. Be careful of the verbal information. Relax, stretch and thank God for the wonders of the world. You should be just fine.

Yoga is the greatest gift of hinduism to the Humanity. True to the spirit of hinduism, Yoga does not need any conversion to hinduism.

Yoga has two parts - hathha yoga which is used to control the body and diseases

Second part of yoga the Raj Yoga is the real yoga. It aims at merging of individual soul into the supreme bliss (GOD).

Yoga can be practiced by any religion's followers...Christian can concentrate on Jesus or God in Raj yoga, Muslims can concentrate on Mohammed or Allah !

Yoga will open up new channels of consciousness and you can have a broader view of life and its mysteries. I am sure a christian will understand christanity better by yoga.

Of course, those who do not want people to open up and thus stop following their childish philosophies, will certainly oppose Yoga.

Yoga and meditation are for future humanity...and it will take over the world..someone likes it or not

Yoga is defined as a Hindu discipline aimed at attaining spiritual illumination; exercises based on yoga techniques. A Christian who is practicing Yoga is contaminating their Christian spirituality, and the exercises are the discipline that is suppose to enlighten, so a Christian should not do it. I can see by the thumbs down given me there are people who just don't understand true Christianity, how sad.

I would keep it on the physical level only, and meditate only on the Word of God. I have done Yoga type exercise while listening to praise and worship. I think it's a good thing.

All that I know about yoga, I wouldn't think it would hurt. Not as long as your meditation is on Him. May God Bless U.
