Im really confused considering im a man and most highschool boys are oblivious.

most teenage girls post blogs, and such. one particular writing that i noticed was, "when you like someone you shoudl pursure them, persistence is attractive". She seems likes the hard to get type. Mysterious in most cases. In algebra, she sometimes writes me notes a seat directly in front of me. she sometimes turns around to smile backed up with a question or two about anything. sometimes she hits me, not too often. Recently i almost bumped into her, i looked up at her expression she smiled at me and i gestured her to move along with smile and a sign of relief. At some point of the year i felt that i had her a shot out of a friend perspective.

in the opening of the year, i asked for her number. then sometimes she would give me a ring. In the beginning of the year she would hint to me that she liked me too.

now its like hard to get.
I want to get the assurance that she does like me.

I am a girl so I'll try to give the other side of this. It really sounds like she likes you. Here are a few things to know though so that you may try to interperet her signals:

When a girl calls a guy it's kinda like flirting, it means she might have an interest in you and she wants to get to know you better to see if she really does have that interest.
Girls usually write notes out of habbit.
Some girls find persistence cute, others think it's more stalkerlike.
Girls hitting a guy is sorta like flirting sometimes.
Smiles all of the time show she is interested in you.
Even if girls flirt with lots of guys, they only keep flirting with the guys they really like.
For a girl to give her number to a guy: Some girls think its a really hard step if they like the guy. If they do then the guy has pretty much almost won her over. Yet, some girls are over eager to give their number if they are very very flirty or the think of a guy as a friend.
Girls don't hint they like a guy just to flirt, it means they really do like the guy.

That said, so long as your not showing up to her house on Valentine's day with a box of chocolates (some girls think it's cute other girls freak) or other risky behavior like that it is totally worth pursuing her. She really digs you and loves both your flaws (bumping into her) and how fun you are (always asks you questions). Pursue her! PURSUE HER I TELL YA! You have great chemistry and she really likes you!

So you have never actually asked her out right? I'm afraid it's time to take the plunge if you want the opportunity to be with her. Even a note will do, seeing as it's unlikely you'll get the chance to be alone with her in school to ask her. Don't forget you may have years left in school with this girl which could mean a negative answer could make things awkward between you, plus you may mess up you're cool friendship. But luck favours the bold and confidence is attractive to women so if you really like her you gotta do it. If it turns out badly I'm sure you're friendship is strong enough to get past it. She definately likes you, those kinds of looks and the hitting are no brainers!
