A ship is ONLY capable of carrying 100 people. The captain counts 99 people entering the ship, then boards himself. The ship sinks. How come?

there must have been a pregnant woman who is counted as two. the captain had made a mistake. so initially there were 100 people boarding. then including himself it became 101 and the ship sank :(

it says 99 people ENTERING the ship, so if he got there when some people were already on the ship, the ship would sink cause thered be more than 100

if it is a sumarine that might be why it sunk
or was it becase that he didnt count or add in the people in the ship befor the 99 people got on

Wether that's a total of 100 or less or more.... It will still sinks,,,, because it was a SUBMARINE.....
