as black as a Jew, like Kissinger, or Jerry Seinfeld.

That is an easy one......
Jesus was born in the Palestine to a family of Hebrews named Mary and Joseph of Nazareth. They were Essene Jews of the matriarchal line of King David, another Hebrew.
This means the following;
1- Jesus was 'tanned' (medium tan like an Arab)
2- Jesus had short very curly very dark hair (not an 'afro')
3- Jesus had a beard, but a short cropped one and very curly
4- Jesus belonged to a group that very strictly followed the Torah

Jesus was not a black man! He lived in the Middle East and would have looked like any other man from that area of the world!

Where is Nazareth today? Its in Israel. Are Israelies "black"? If a middle Eastern man was standing in front of me, I would not consider him "black", since I have seen blacker shades in this country. In answer, no, Jesus was not black. He was a Nazarene, whatever that means, interpret however your racism determines. What He preached was the same, love your neighbor, (who cares about black or white or brown, ok?)

Jesus was not black, due to he would have been possibly identified as such, Jesus was probably dark skinned, as the people in that region are. So this includes the common picture of Jesus being a white man as well, that is also a misconception.

Not true. Jesus was a Jew, and Jews are NOT black. Heck even the Egyptians are not black. Jesus was tan. He wasn't Brad Pitt white, but he certainly wasn't black.

I think it depends on your religion or race. Most believe, (even some black churches), that jesus is white. But I think it depends on your imagination and how yo;uve been brought up. And I mean that in a fully un-racist way.

Well he sure as hell wasn't white. I am pretty sure there weren't a lot of caucasians running around in Jerusalem at that time, lots of Jews, Hebrews, and others of that nature, but not too many of the typical brown haired, fair skinned, blue eyed types that are so popular in pictures.

Most likely not. He was a jew born around Israel. He probably took on a mixture of caucasian-mediterranean/middle eastern look.
It really doesn't matter much, I just think it is improbable he was black at best though.

He was not black or white. He was a Jewish man from Nazareth so he probably had olive skin and dark hair. Lets not try to make him politically correct too. This is not a race thing.....He was who He was and is who He is......PERIOD!
God Bless All!
