I have chronic low back pain. On consulting with my physiotherpist, he suggested to wear a LS belt with metallic strip.

My focus is to keep my spine erect with in the right shape of 'S'.I mean the belt should keep my low back at natural curved posture.

plz help me asap!!

Find out a Prosthetics Center in your area and get the LS belt made according to your body measurements & contours. Wear this for a few days to know if this needs to be reshaped. The fitting has to be right because a loose belt may worsen your backache.

Ohhhhhh gosh, no I don't. But I just had a thought, if you'd like to try it. Maybe you could call the American Embassy and inquire about getting some assistance in finding a good Chiropratic doctor. Honestly though, I don't have any other clues about finding a good one in India. I've never been there, although I've always wanted to go for a scenic tour. It is important you find one who is good though because getting a full standing X-ray of
your spine is the most important. Or if there are any Ostiopathic (not M.D.'s) that you could inquire with, they may be able to tell you where there'
s a good Chiropratic doctor. I hope this helped you a little. I've been seeing the same Chiropractor for 20 years and he's wonderful. I had some serious injuries and illnesses that were related to pinched nerves. He has sort of been my savior. I'd be lost without him. If you have other questions, I'll try to help as much as I can. Good luck with finding someone.

One word of caution about wearing low back supports. It is well known that if you wear this support to frequently it will weaken you back. That is because it as it relieves your low back pain, the support will act as your back muscles and the muscles in your back will become weaker. You can take this info to the bank. If you wear a support it should be worn only during the times when you are active and doing something that you could not do without it, and then simply take it off. Failure to do this will really mess you up.

If you have lower back pain, you really need a chair that cushions your back and supports it. You could also use a chair massager that fits right on the back of the chair to help you, it gives you a massage and heat at the same time.
