Christianity.

Jesus died and rose again. This is proven historical fact. That's enough for me. What He says goes. He alone is God.

The true religions is Animism, the reason is because it is the only religion that appears in multiple places across the world without the people in the different lands even knowing about the xistence of the others, let alone communicateing religious thought with one another. It is the only religion without a true founder or founding country, and all children, at least to an extent believe in a very basic form of Animism, even if they do not realize it. Nature exists, you can see it, touch it, smell it, hear it, and even taste it. You cannot prove that some all powerful god exists, but you cannot proove that nature does not exist. You can proove that it is real. So in essance any religion that uses Animism as a base, such as Shinto, or Buddhism can technically be called real.

A religion is a philosophy with rituals. All philosophies serve the same purpose: to guide our life effectively. If we undertand why we need a philosophy, we may find the answer to which is the correct philosophy to choose.

If one is confused about one’s principles and values, we should not be surprised. The philosophical principles we have been handed down by our parents or society are so contradictory, no one can be expected to “love wisdom” and find in it an easy way to live happily.

But no human being can live without a philosophy. By philosophy, I mean a system of principles and values used as a guide for living.

A philosophy is composed of several specific branches of study, but the most important are metaphysics, epistemology, logic, and ethics. The way philosophy is taught in school, through the crazy ideas of various eminent philosophers is enough to confuse anyone forever!

A better way to study philosophy is by applying its principles in practice. Metaphysics is the branch that answers the question of existence; epistemology answers the question of knowledge and how we know anything; logic is the method for proving that what we know does not contradict reality; ethics is the branch that tells us what value we should pursue and for whose benefit they are.

Ask yourself these essential questions in each of the four branches of philosophy and see how philosophy should be studied and applied to guide you through life:
METAPHYSICS: Are you conscious of the primary existence of the physical universe and of life and consciousness which derives from it or are you conscious of a supernatural intelligence which produced the physical world?
EPISTEMOLOGY: How did you get your answer of metaphysics? Where did your knowledge come from?
LOGIC: Does your answer contradicts the evidence of the senses? Does it contradict your experience of reality?
ETHICS: Is life a value to you? Is life to benefit you or to benefit someone else, like your family, your country, society or God?

The way you think about these questions will condition your decisions and actions in life. Your happiness depends on how consistently you can live according to the principles you have adopted. If you experience confusion and unhappiness it means that the answers and principles you have adopted cannot be applied to reality and you have chosen an irrational philosophy.

If there is one thing I have learned for sure in this world it is that this existence is subjective. I believe that there are many paths to enlightenment - and frankly, if you look carefully at many of earth's religions you will see that they are saying largely the same thing. There is no way to know the Unknowable, but based upon the clues I have received so far, I think there is a bit of truth in all religions.

Peace!

Great Question. There are so many religions and all believe they are the right ones. I believe only one can be correct. There are those which are totally wrong, some are close to being right, but only one can be 100% correct. I happen to believe that Christianity is the correct one. But there are many denominations within Christianity, and I believe that only one of those are 100% correct. My personal search has led me to believe that the Baptist Church is the one that was started by Jesus Christ and continued by the Apostles, teaching salvation by faith thru the grace of God. Now there are a lot of denominations besides Baptist that teach this doctrine, meaning that there will be many denominations in heaven. I just happen to believe in the Baptists are more correct in Baptism by immersion, the sacraments of the church, once saved always saved, ect., none of which will get you into heaven. I just believe they follow the Bible more correct than the others.

It'd be arrogant to say that one's particular religion is true, and one knows that how they view the universe is the only way it can be viewed... So I'm more partial to those religions that accept other religions as equally valid... Hinduism does pretty well for itself there, but nothing really compares with agnosticism for definite objective truth, though I don't suscribe to it myself.

If all else fails you can pick up worshipping Alex Chiu and live forever...

The true religion won't require you to have faith to believe it. A true religion will be backed by evidence therefore you won't need faith. Therefore a true religion doesn't exist...try science..it is much more beautiful and awe-inspiring than BS myths.

there is a possibility that the answer to this question is that all of the religions are correct or all part of a bigger religion that has yet to be discovered. it is also possible that all of the religions are incorrect. i think that true religion is encompassed in decent and indecent actions towards yourself and everyone else. i don't believe there is one religion that is correct. guidlines for how to live a decent life is all religions were created for.

What you believe is yours. "true" religion is the one that you believe.

If you are a Christian, you believe that the bible is God's words as spoken by the prophets. You believe everything that is in the bible, because it is revelation. In short, you believe the prophets.

Other religions have other prophets. Although interesting, they really offer the Christian nothing.

I think the religion which sticks to its beliefs is true religion. However some has contradictions in its fundamentals. Now, its your choice to decide which one is true religion.

Sometimes God reveals himself to us through religion. True religion, not what people think religion is. James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. If a man's religion is pure then he will do those types of acts and they will show others that there is a God. God showed his love for man by sending his own son to die for man’s sin. When Jesus died for man he didn't die for a religion, he died for his people.

This is true religion. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
