do I have a grace period of a month before I have to pay to have my vehicle registered? ( I am broke as hell thanks to the tis the Season stuff...So, I was thinking that I could pay it in two weeks and that would be good for me, but if it isn't legal, I want to just pay it now..soooo is there a grace period or do I have to pay on that exact date? I appreciate your answers. Thank-You.

Nope, no grace period.

Check with your DMV. In NY there is no grace period. The penalties are often stiff and here you don't have to be caught by the police, it's all handled by the DMV. No registration, turn in the plates or pay the penalty. I hope you have some luck.

Grace period depends where you live. In CT I think we get a week or so. This may be a time for you to borrow some money and get it done.

in some parts of the USA (WI) its not even till the end of the month anymore its now on the day that you got your plates so for an ex-sample if you got your plates on 12/15 they run out on 12/15 and for the grace its not that long at all and its $156.20 fine is what i got

there's usually a grace period on it,,I'm not sure of the exact amount of time,,but i think its a few days anyway,and in most places a holiday is an amnesty day,,it usually don't count,,good luck,,hope this help,s.happy new years.

in manitoba canada theres a 2 day grace before they cancell ur insurance but the police will not give u a brake theell nail u 4 it
