I was wondering if anyone knew a place I could go to online to see my credit score for free and wont have to use a credit or debit card? Please help! Thank you.

Keep in mind that you have THREE scores, one from each of the three credit bureaus (Trans Union, Experian and Equifax). The pp is correct. Law requires them to provide you with a free annual credit REPORT, but not the score. So the only way you can get these scores for "free" would be to go to a loan officer you know and trust and have them run your credit and then tell you the scores he/she pulled up. Otherwise you will have to pay the $7 (multiplied by 3x if you want all three scores).

There is no FTC law that requires your credit score to be revealed to you without paying for it. The most commonly used scoring system (by the way there are more than one, and only the one the particular creditor you are applying to is using matters) is FICO by Fair, Isaac & Company. You can obtain this score for about $7 online.

If thats too much, www.bankrate.com has a credit score estimator based on the FICO model, but it relies on your honesty in answering the questions on the site.

u can check your credit report for free at www.annualcreditreport.com u get to check it once a year but in order for u to get your score from that u need to pay like 4.95 but if u weant to just check your credit u can check it on there for free
