I have been using mg217 from Walgreen's. It is a tar oil ointment. I use it If I don't need to go outdoors tar oil ointments will cause sunburn. I have been using Eucerin plus lotion for daytime use. It helps.

want to stop trying and get results? well, use RENEW lotion. It is also a patented skin lotion. It is an exclusive non-greasy formula. It has been proven to be the healer for your problem. I wish I was able to get a tube to you. It contains the Melaleuca Oil which is a healer. I can only tell you it is VERY GOOD! It nourishes your skin while it heals. Also, watch your stress level and your DIET! Find a way to order it from Melaleuca marketing executives. It has been proven to be better than Eucerin. Go to their website for more info. Good luck!!

Keep your skin moist ,I use Aveeno lotion (not with menthol).I also use Neutragena T gel shampoo and conditioner they are a bit smelly but after your hair is dry it's scent free.I also now have to inject methetrexate once a week and it's been keeping my skin pretty good .I have used some cream from the states called Skin Zinc too and although expensive and hard to get it really helped.

I was taught in nursing school to soak in the bath containing oil which will remove the scales. It mostly erupts with stress and smoking so its a good idea for cessation. You can get a prescription for retinoids or methotexate which will reduce the growth rate.

My mom uses Selsun Blue, the regular kind, not the fancy kinds with conditioners and such. She uses it because she has it on her scalp but she also uses it on her elbows. Just putting it on and leaving it for a while, then washing it off. Also, increasing your intake of flax works great.

My father has this and goes for ultraviolet xray treatments. He has it very severe though. Sunlight and sunlamps would be good.
