well i'm assuming you're a guy by your name, so it will be a lot more difficult. if you're a guy and trying to get more volume, i'm also assuming that your hair is sort of long. if you had it buzzed or fairly short, having any volume wouldn't matter. so. if your hair is long enough that you have to spend more than 3 minutes to blow dry it completely, then turn your head upside down when you're drying it. this will almost force your hairs to dry and stay in this position. also check out some volumizing or thickening shampoos. they're mostly put out by like pantene pro-v and things like that, but don't worry if they seem sort of girly - chicks dig a guy with nice smelling hair.
i hope this helped a bit, take care! happy 2007.

A few things here. Some layering will indeed, help. Long one length hair doesn't build or hold volume well. Straightening it makes it even more difficult. Straightening hair makes the strands lie flat against one another, so that hair lies flatter, with no volume. You can smooth your hair without straightening it. Use a large round brush and a large iron to smooth, yet leave some body in the hair. Also, use a voluming Shampoo and Conditioner, every brand now has a range.. Stay away from Spray Gels as they will flatten the hair and weigh it down. when looking for a hairspray also look for one that is specifically for voluming hair. And don't forget to tease you hair then spray it with hairspray, that will give you the volume you are after. The best thing to do is get layers! good luck.

. Try Pinching at the tips an using comb (combing downward) to give your hair a "wild effect"(doesn't matter how short or long your hair is) throw in some volumizing mousse , and style wit fingers as desired(for short) and use a wide toothed comb to style(Long)..(its almost instant Volume and u get that 80's rocker type look that's crazy hot today!!) Best of luck to you. AND TO THE GIRL ABOVE ME....STEALING STYLISTS TIPS ARE NOT COOL!!!

volume, dry your roots first coz you need to mould the bonds and reshape them then if and when you have dryed your hair and you wont more volume then it might be an idea to invest in straighteners. just remember when you take a section , from the root start making a half circle and there you should get volume and shine.if your not use to straighteners and you carnt do it don't panic you will get there good luck and i hope I've helped you .
