You should talk to your mother about it. Although you may not be able to sway her from what she is doing, divorce is a part of life and it will be hard for you to accept this, but you should keep moving. Talking to your mother would also help her understand how you feel about what she is doing right now. If you look at it from her point of view, she married your father, and at her wedding, she was most likely filled with joy, but after a divorce, she's lost someone she used to loved. So from her point of view, she is happy and you should try to cheer yourself up.

Sit down and DISCUSS your feelings with whichever parent you feel closest to, or with both of them at the same time. Probably both at the same time. Before you discuss, try to visualize in your mind what exactly is at the core of your unhappiness. Then write down your impressions so you can have an intelligent discussion with your parents. This could include any fears you may unknowingly have. I hope all turns out well for you and your family.

You may never feel truly "happy" but you can be polite and respectful, not rude ,distant or judgemental. They will continue to move on with their lives with or without your approval. Try to know in your heart that you are not responsible for the decisions they have made in their past or will make in their future. They have their own lives and you should continue to have yours. Good Luck!

Are you happy? Was there abuse when they were married. It is odd to hear of a child that doesn't want their parents back together after they divorced. I know I hoped one day mine would get back together, but it never happened. If your mom and dad are happy, then you should be happy for them.
