Okay. It's starting to get old having to see stuff like "accept Christ" and other similar crap after all the christian people answer a question.
Another thing that's getting more and more frequent is their attempt to convince yahoo that we're being abusive. I asked someone for a link and their answer got deleted for abuse. What's their problem? I think some christian reported it because the link was for a secular humanist group...idk what their problem is. Isn't anyone else annoyed by these things?

also they'll write you a 1/2 page or more of random pointless quotes from the bible.

You may have forgotten that this site is called Religion and Spirituality!
Christians have every right to be here! If you do not like what they have to say go to another site and answer questions there!

You know what, its too bad yahoo can't ID the people who do the reporting, as it would not surprise me if it wasn't one of your own. How are we attempting to convince yahoo you all are being abusive and what's with all this stereotyping you are doing toward Christians and "your own people?" Are you claimed by any one group of people?

If you are not liking what yuo see, wouldn't it be best to go somewhere else so you don't feel bothered hearing about Christ and how its important to accept him as Savior and Lord of your life?

No one is forcing anything down your throat, that is impossible to do. Besides, a true Christian knows it isn't us that lead someone to the Lord, we just say the words.

I will apologize to you though for some of the attitudes of so called Christians and for the ones that are still learning and growing in God's word. I know there have been some harsh words said and some strong tones used by people taking the "Christian side." So I'm sorry if you were offended by any of those.

However, as a Christian, I would never apologize for simply stating God's Truth, such as how much He loved you and sent His Son to die on the cross for you and Jesus is going to return one day. Also I could not apologize for His Truth about there being a heaven and a hell and anyone who has not accepted Christ as their Savior will go to hell.

Now, all I've done is stated a God's Truth, not mine, just God's. Also can you please tell me how I forced this on you? You asked a question in an open forum for anyone to answer, just as a Christian will ask a question seeking godly answers and getting ungodly answers as well.

One other thing, I think this is just a matter of logial sense and not God's truth although I'm sure He will agree with me and since I'm not even an expert on all the scriptures written, it could even be in His word somewhere, but in the meantime until I find it or someone corrects me, I will add this logical sense on:

There can only be one Truth, either Christ is real or He isn't, either there is a heaven & a hell or there isn't. So its a 50/50 chance on this. However, the selection is the most important selection a person could ever make in their life.

If I'm wrong I've lost nothing. If I'm right, I escape the fires of hell and live for ever in heaven.

I can understand that someone makes a decision to accept or not accept Christ and follow the Christian lifestyle. I am a Christian myself and know that although I am evangelistic, that is a personal decision. I endorse a personal relationship with God and in no way am ashamed of that the same way a Jew is proud of his heritage or a national from another country loves their ethnicity.

What I do not get is why Christianity gets the treatment it does! I do not make people inferior if they do not agree with my beliefs or are not interested in following the teachings of Christ. I give the truth of the Bible and leave things between them and God. I still love them and live; I do not conpromise my beliefs as they do not theirs. Why should I feel that I have to keep quiet?

I do not know of people harrassing those who follow things such as Kabbalah or the New Age movement. Why is it such a big deal whenever a Christian wants to say something about anything? If I tell someone to meditate and do yoga for a spiritual cleansing, it is okay. If I tell someone love one another the way Christ spoke of, I am asking too much. If I mention the Dalai Lama, it is okay, if I talk about salvation, I am offensive. In the same way that there are anti-Semitics, ther are anti-Christians, too!

Everything done by the church has not been right, I own up to that. Still, what cultural, political or religious group out there has shown perfection??

Honestly, I'm annoyed by anyone who acts like an idiot.

Myself included, when those times arise.

Giving support to your answer based on your belief shouldn't be cause for complaint. I do attempt to explain my thought when the question warrants an answer.

Please remember, there are idiots on every side. Don't call all the apples bad just because a few of them are rotten.

Ignorance and close/narrow mindedness annoys me the most. Its also annoying anytime I make a question or answer that mentions my beliefs I hear "I hope you open your eyes and see the light!" or "I hope you find the true path to Allah soon" or something like that. I did not ask for this mumbo jumbo, I do not want to hear it.

Some Atheists and Christians assume all Atheists believe the same thing (Big Bang is true, blah blah blah) which also gets on my nerves. YOU DO NOT KNOW ME, AND YOU DO NOT UNERSTAND WHAT I BELIEVE, DO NOT SPEAK FOR ME.

Overall, im pretty much annoyed at the ignorant people who think they know it all.

Hail Satan.

Yeah, sometimes. But I just get annoyed by a lot of answers that are completely opposite of what I believe, by anyone whether they claim to be Christian or not. I think it's just a part of being human.

In general, I'm annoyed with anyone who is not open minded. The answer for many people in fact is not Christ or the bible, but inner strength.

Some people use god, jesus, christ or the bible as a standard answer because they can't think of anything themselves.

It's very annoying, especially coming from 12-18 year olds who have absolutely no life experience.

well I don't ever put "accept Christ" because that never answers the question and is just a simplistic non definition of Christianity.

I get sick of the simplicity and lack of actual dialougue be it:
Christian: Accept Christ or be saved or your stupid
Atheists: God doesn't exist or religion is a myth or your stupid
Trolls: Blah blah blah blah blah or your stupid

I have one thing to say to "answers" like these "your stupid"

All simplistic answers and inflammatory questions from all sides are getting old

We are all here to share thoughts and opinions. Are you in this category for sharing or learning? If you are not a Christian, then what are you trying to learn about? Ask questions that you would like to learn from.
