If your fat isn't low enough the six pack abs won't show even if you have them, because they will be covered up by fat (this is true for any muscle).

The percentage of fat you need to have depends on your gender and activity (ie whether you are a competitive athlete or not).

The kind of diet to get there also depends on your body type.

2%-5% is definitely too low unless you are a competitive body builder with a contest coming up. Too little body fat is as unhealthy as too much body fat. 10% body fat is good enough to show a six pack, don't go overboard. HTH : )

it's not body fat it's muscle...

do exercises that work out your addominal muscles, that should help you get a six pack
