So me and my ex bf are still broken up (ive been posting about our problems alot lately)
But today he calls me and im talking to him, and then we say are goodbyes and stuff and we hang up.
Then about 30 secs go bye and my phone rings and its him
so i answer it and i say "Hello?"
And he says
"I love you"
I relply..
"i love you too"
What could this mean?
i know he loves me.. but could this mean he still thinks of me adn wants to be with me. or is jsut me wanting to be with him so bad that im just over thinking the whole situtaion.

Both of you still love each other, stop acting like babies and amitt to yourself that you still want him, I've been there and know what it is like. You love the guy, both of you go out to dinner and a movie tomorrow night, it's on me. Have Fun!

You really should just be open with him.
I've been in a relationship with my girlfriend for three years now (on Jan. 10th) and I can honestly say that things go up and down depending on the amount of openness (through conversation) that we have.
Since he called you back, it means that he didn't just say it out of habit or as an accident so he went "the extra mile" to tell you this. Most likely he still feels the way you do (wants to be back together). Men and women understand things differently and it takes a guy longer to realize certain things- he's probably just starting to see these things.

Over thinking. Sorry, women tend to read into everything. Men on the other hand tend to say what they mean right when they mean it. So it doesn't mean anything unless he says it does. I don't doubt that he loves you...but that doesn't mean anything else has changed. You are going to obsess about it anyway...but try not to relay that to him. Love isn't always enough in a relationship. You are still the same people regardless of whether you love each other or not. You aren't together for probably a lot of reasons...and love isn't one of them. Take heart in the fact that you are loved regardless of what it may or may not lead too.

Well he obviously had to call back that instant and tell you that meaning he still really cares... I think there is a little more to it than you just over thinking the situation but I don't know the whole story so I can't tell you...

He is still in love with you. depends hon how long you have been broken up, maybe he just forgot to tell you befroe u hung up the first time. The real question is do u still love him, if u do then try to get him back. Best of luck.

It could mean he wants to be with you. Guys don't know what they have until it is gone. It might of hit him that he still wants you and can't get over you. Time will tell just let him make the first move and then you will know.

Sounds like he is having second thoughts on the breaking up situation and may be scared to admit it - tell him hjow you feel. What more can happen - you've already broken up, at least then you will know whether to get over him or not.

If I were you, I would dump him and don't look back. There is a reason why you broke up with him. And no matter how many times you try to go back to him, the end result will be the same.
They always throw in that "I Love You" to keep you on the hook in case they want to come back to you. If he truly did love you, he wouldn't be leaving you or you him.

why don't you two get together and hammer out the problems that broke you both up and see if they can be resolved.

my x husband use to call like that all the time i finally said to him why do you say you love me all the time you know i love you and this hurts me.
well to make a long story short he is now my husband again
PS it means that he loves you maybe you should bring it up about getting back together
