iraq will probably see a surge in violence but saddam's hanging is only an excuse. there has been violence and killing in the name of religion for thousands of years and it will not stop because he is dead or the u.s. has brought democracy to it. the iraq courts found him guilty and the iraqi ppl have a right to see him, like any other criminal pay for his crimes against them, its only fitting that the iraq ppl who have had to live under his cruel dictatorship finally get justice and if that is what their society sees as justice it is not our call to condemn them. its their government, their ppl and their legal system....let them handle it their way.

it would reason extra violence interior america considering the fact that George W. Bush is the top promoter of killing Saddam Hussein and because George W. Bush ordered that Hussein's sons be murdered on an identical time as allowing Osama bin laden's family participants loose go out from the united statesA. looks to me that there is warped reasoning here. merely in case you question us--we are regulation-abiding, unswerving human beings who have self assurance in certainty and justice. Saddam Hussein might desire to no longer probable get a honest trial and the certainty of the subject is interior the undeniable fact that his protection legal experts have been killed or injured. So, how are you able to get to the certainty once you're in basic terms entitled to a protection see you later because it relatively is of an identical opinion with the prosecution? the certainty shall set you loose. in step with threat God will tutor the international and intrude as he did with Shadrack, Meshack and Abendigo?

I think it is ironic that people warn "executing him will cause violence"......... Didn't the liberal press (in the US at least) tell us that Saddam and the terrorists were enemies? Thus shouldn't they be happy that Saddam is executed? And certainly the terrorists are not against the death penalty. So obviously if they are upset that Saddam is being executed, they must have supported him.

I think when we leave there will be a major surge of violence. All the iraqies that helped us will get killed. Saddams death will cause some violence but i dont think it will be worse then whats happening already.

Oh, as if the sheet hasn't already been flapping in the breeze.

Those jihadists have you bomb-shy already don't they?

You know, maybe the best thing for a humanitarian nation is to let Saddam live. Simply let him stay incarcerated for the length of his life.

Honestly I mean how much more violent can you get in Iraq? Those who want to fight for Saddam have either died already or are fighting their hearts out still. I don't think they have any more violence in them then the barbaric thing they have already done.

I do too.
It is a serious "Catch 22". They need to execute him quickly so that the insurgents cannot form a strong coordinated response, but there are not nearly enough troops to handle one.
I think we just need to pray that the response in the streets will be minimal becuase it could be awful.

yes, to the people that still look at him like a god.... he was loved and hated in Iraq, so i believe their is going to be an outbreak of violence on the day of his execution.... i hope no one goes out on that day in Iraq, so that can be in safety... but knowing these darn Iraqis (no offense) they seem to like the site of killing....

Yes, but so will any other course of action. The Muslims of the world have decided to make Iraq a bloodbath, regardless of anyone's or any country's policies.

Can it really get any worse? I do hate to see him killed, and martyred by the Sunnis. But, if kept in jail forever-someone, someday, would let him escape, unless coalition troops were forever there to guard him. There is no other way.
