Everytime i meet a guy, i instantly fall into the "one of the guys" category. I've tried everything i can think of to get out of it, I even wear makeup now when i never used to, and get dressed up when we go out places. I'm starting to really fall for this guy, but he sees me as just a friend, and its getting tired. I'm sick of being invisible as a woman. What can i do to stop being seen as another guy?

Why do you think guys view you as just a friend? You mentioned that you made the effort to become more feminine but do you mother your guy friends? Do you have short hair? Point is, guys like a girl who is a little flirtacious...they like girls with long sexy hair.

Yea i agree 2, i think u shud keep wearing makeup, and wearing fashionable clothes, and know that u look hott and sexy with urself, talk 2 the gurlz at ur skool, go out with them. Maybe go to a party or a movie, or maybe even a sleepover. Then u will truly know that u r a beautiful gurl, u can still talk 2 the guyz at ur skool, but just act like a normal girl. U don't have to be or act like a guy just to fit in with them! GOOD LUK ;) If tht guy u r falling 4 thinkz as u as a friend, i think u shud let it go, and know that he isen't really that Mr. Rite for you! But alwayz remeber, don't expect anything, cuz if u do, and it doesn't turn out the way u "expected" it to turn out, u will be hurt and crushed in the end! Thatz wat my teacher alwayz tellz me! U never really know, maybe if u act very feminin, he will start to like u more than just a friend!!

You are on the right path, continue to wear make-up. Get a make over. Grow your hair long and visit a salon regularly. This guy is not for you but the next guy may be so that's what we prepare for. FYI: No loud talking being the crazy funny girl/sit with your legs crossed or closed

If this is definitely what you want than NEVER be anything but feminine. Set yourself apart from the guys and expect to be treated differently. Expect respect, not friendship, and it can be yours. I,however, believe you would be much happier reaching a compromise. You don't have to be treated like a girlie-girl to be feminine and sexy and desirable to guys. You can even be their friend. There is a middle ground that allows you to be YOU and no longer "invisble" as a woman. You will find a way!

huh maybe just ask him. hey am i just on of the guys or am i gonna get some sometime. haha or something like that. you might need to just step up a little its not clothes or make up or any of that its attitude. you may just be that cool to hang out with so just talk to the guy you like and see what happens. whats the worst thing that could happen? is it worse than what is happening now? no most likely not. take a shot you cant get what you want unless you ask for it.

It helps to dress like one of the girls every now and then. Put on some make up. Wear your hair a new way. Things like that, that are drastically noticeable. The guys are bound to notice it sooner or later.

Ask your self why......

Most relationships that last start out as long time good friendships. So do you want one that lasts .... or do you just wanna get sweaty?

Getting wet is easy ...but you run the risk of being seen as easy too.....

Just be your self ... you will find a person who prefers you to just be you .... stop looking ..you'll trip over the guy ....

Happy Hunting !

ask him out. sometimes being in the "one of the guys" position is the best one to be in. Maybe hes thinking the same thing you are and not knowing if you like him back.

If you don't ask him, then what happends when someone else gets him?

I know how you feel, but once the right guy comes along it won't matter at all how you are perceived, he will like you for who you are. I've always been "one of the guys"...i've always gotten along better with guys than girls.....but once i found my husband 7 years ago it changed everything. I'm still better in crowds of guys (which gets my husband jealous) but all works out. Just be YOU!

You can grow longer hair, you can wear a dress now and then, you can also STOP putting on make up.( that will probably show that your a woman)
