No, it's not wrong, despite what others may tell you. Questioning (of anything) leads to learning and new ideas. So if you're curious about religion, learn about the other ones (from books and other reputable places), and go from there. Without questioning, all the stuff that we have now, all the progress that humanity has made throughout time, wouldn't exist and wouldn't have happened.
If you want to start learning about other beliefs, check out http://www.religioustolerance.com. It's not a perfect site, but it's a step.

The truest test of any religion is if someone can question it.
Go ahead, be honest, and search as best you can for the answers. You may strengthen your beliefs in your current relgion, or this could be the doorway to finding a religion that differs. You may have to do some digging, a lot of reseach, and a whole bunch of study -
but dont give up!
The only way someone can build their faith and find a religious choice is by study. So question, and seek the answers, they are out there.

No, it's not wrong. It's a sign of intelligence to question things and be curious. However, don't do anything drastic. First do some reading and research and pray about it, too, if praying is part of your life. Dedicate yourself to finding out what your own truth is and what you deeply believe. Search for your own spiritual center and don't let other people tell you what to believe. It is possible to outgrow a religion--to get older and find that a particular set of beliefs don't work for you anymore. But proceed with caution and thought.

God gave you a heart and a brain. He didn't give them to blindly follow another humans opinions, theories, stories. Use your logic and your spirit to find your own truth.
It is so hard to question the way you have been raised, but don't be afraid. If you think about it, a lot of what the religions teach doesn't make any sense and the response is always "have faith" There is nothing wrong with asking questions, it is what the creator (if there is one) would want you to do.
It is very easy to be brainwashed, so tread carefully.

I'm 15 and a few months ago I started questioning my beliefs. Someone told me that to really know yourself you need truly believe what you believe. (in other words not what your parents believe) I looked at my belief in Christianity and what I truly believed in. I was a little open to my little (12) brother who was going through confirmation at the time. Basically he told me that the "devil was putting the questions into my head" which of course made me a little angry. Then I looked at the FACT that there is ABSOLUTEY NO EVIDENCE of anything Christian. This led me to be agnostic but now I at least know what I truly believe and I feel like a left a major state of confusion in my life that I didn't even realize I was going through.
It might be different for you though but it is ALWAYS good to question your beliefs, otherwise you don't know what your beliefs really are.

It's wrong if you think it is. "Believers" will tell you you're wrong and will try to guilt-trip you back into "believing".
When I questioned my religion (Christianity at the time), I felt guilty for not believing in god anymore, but when I studied and discovered what I truly wanted to believe, i've been much happier since I became an Atheistic Satanist.
You'll have to sit down and think about what you truly believe. Don't let anyone else tell you what is right and wrong though.

Im absolutely Sure it is NOT wrong to question the things that are. But those that are politically correct will follow the blind irregardless and if they were all Lemmings, they would all jump off the cliff.
So questioning whats correct, is also like making sure of your own soul that you dont jump off the cliff or fall into the ditch.
God did not call us to blind Faith, his prophets have declared that we should both work out our own salvation and Study and pray and be led by the spirit of truth.

Religion is man made. God did not create baptists, methodists (which I happen to associate with), catholics, etc. Man did all that division. If you are seeking God in all this, do some research. Talk to some elders in various faiths. Get some counseling or go to a Bible Study. You might be surprised what you find. You don't have to take anythign for granted, and you are allowed to question things (it is normal and healthy). May you find God in your searching!

The problem with some religions is that they would scare (or bully) you into not asking questions. You don’t want to take a path that would lead you to doubt, because you may go to hell if you lose your faith.
One thing is for certain; if you are afraid of losing your faith, then you certainly shouldn’t question the status quo, but I would tell you, YES! Question it. You’re human and that is what separates you from the rest of the animals; your ability to question and use your brain.
I hope this helps you :-)

I don't know how old you are but it is normal at times to question those in authority. Where I attend church, we let everyone know that if we are not completely following what is found in the BIBLE that we want to know about it so that we can change what we are doing. We will gladly answer questions and discuss any topic that members or visitors have after the services are over. I really believe that your parents should be glad that you are interested enough in religion to be asking questions about it! KEEP ASKING until you are comfortable with the answers!! Have a great evening.
