HELp!! i was talking to my boyfriend of two months on the phone, and as we were saying our goodbyes, he started to say the words " i love you", but it was at a totally awkward time, just as i was saying "bye". IT was SOOO AWKWARD......because im really not sure if i LOVE him yet....i dont think i am ready for that. and i really do not want to say it if i dont mean it because i have never said "i love you" to a boyfriend yet because i believe that those words should only be said in a mature relationship, where you truly love each other, and not just as a way to get off the phone. i am only 15 years old and have never been in true love!! please help me and tell me how i can get my point to him kindly as possible!!!

Don't just say ok, or haha, you have to say, i don't know, i really really like you but im not ready to say those words yet, don't take this in the wrong way, just lets continue how we where until i know.

Just make sure when you tell him he knows you still like him, if you turn him down in the wrong way he could think you don't like him at all and really upset him.

And to the girl saying he just wants sex i don't think so, its possible but at 15-16 i don't think so. I've been dating a girl for about 2 months, im 16 she is 15 and sex has never crossed my mind. Not once, about her anyway. I'm just consintraing on heavy kissing.

Dont let it scare you away unless he is pressuring you into something more, the main thing for you to tell him is that you appreciate him liking you a lot but that you are not comfortable with using the word "love" yet. Tell him you do like him and would like to continue seeing him but that you feel that you are not ready for Love. Tell him you feel you are still learning what love is. If you want to still see him then tell him so but if he wants to move in a direction you are not ready for do not be afraid to break it off if you are not ready. I am proud of young women that know what they want and understand their age and maturity level, you sound like a very wise young lady, please do not be afraid to stick to your convictions. You will know when you are ready for love, and it shouldnt be anytime soon. Good luck to you.

you just tell him that you are not ready but wants a true freindship with him. If he really loves you he would not switch over to another girl.&during this freindship you would surely come to know abut your feelins about him &then you wuld be able to judge whether he is right for you or not

Tell him exactly what you just typed here. It's the truth as you see it and he needs to hear it. You should be congratulated for having such a mature approach to your relationship. The guy should be happy to have you in his life.

just be honest, tell him love is a complex feeling
being 15 years old you need to let love develop and if it does you will tell him. until that time comes don't be pushy
