Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 2 years. My dad is still unsure about my boyfriend but I think he is warming up to him. I am 17 and my boyfriend is 21. I was wanting to spend New Years with him and I have to stay the night. I was needing advice on how to ask my father if I could stay at my boyfriend's house. Me and my father have a rough relationship and I am his only daughter so he is kind of strict.

That's a tough one since you're only 17 and i'm guessing still living at home. I would make plans with your boyfriend and some other friends. Tell your dad that you will be spending New Years eve with your friends and you will be staying out late. Tell him you will be staying out with friends all night. Don't be that specific.

first off kinda fishy that your boyfriend is that much older. technically statitory rape that your father can press if you two have sex. but beyond that you cant. i would never let a daughter under 21 go out with a guy over 21. alcohol does bad things and well dont like the idea of a guy feeding my daughter drinks to get into her pants.

so if you can find a way around that logic your home free. if not better just stay home

well I don't think it is a good idea I understand he is your boyfriend and all but I have a good feeling no matter how nice you ask the answer is going to be no so just be prepared for that answer can see maybe your curfew being extended till 1;00am but that's as far as it would go.
