Right now am wearing two cotton undershirts, an oversized Hanes Jersey, pants and two pairs of socks and still cold.

What do you suggest the materials, or brand of clothing that keep you warm? (non-snowing city)

cotton is not enough... get wool sweaters... really makes a difference... you can also get windbreakers that contain feathers in them.... that's why ducks can tolerate cold weather!! lol

I wear layers of clothes so I can add or shed because where I live it might be Below freezing AM and quite warm PM.

Well, long underwear is available in a nylon material that is very warm. I found mine at Target in the PJs section. I would also suggest hand and feet warmers. Go to any outdoor store or the hunting section of a Wal-Mart and you can get them for $2. They hold heat for several hours.

wool is always good, layers is the real way to keep yourself from over heating or freezing. you might try moving around the human body generates heat from just "burning" calories.....as far as brand names......well there are a hunred names out there but your local game hunter would be your most reputable source
