My daughter says you need to name him Fluffy. LOL I disagree. A 7 yr old Mastiff has too much dignity. I would call him something like Bruno. Do you have a favorite TV show? Going that route I would suggest Grissom, Monk or MacGyver. You may not like those, but you can see where I'm going with it, so just substitute your own.

Depending on how he was treated with previous owners, depends on what his name should be. If he had a great owner, try to keep his previous name. If he had a horrible abusive owner, change it totally the oppisite way.

I like the names like, Sam(p)son, Pana, or something that would fit his color or markings. My dog's name is mickey. 1 guess how he got that name..................he has a mickey mouse head on his back. No joke! That's how he got his name. So if he has anything that reminds you of a cartoon dog, or something, go with that!

i know people who had a half malamute and half wolf.man this dog was huge.i could be spelling his name wrong i hope you get what I'm saying his name was zoose.the name fit this dog perfect .

What is his name now? You should go with something that is similiar to its name now so that he isn't too confused.
