I fell head over heels in love with someone who loves me to - we just are not able to be in a relationship considering our current circumstances. Where do I start in order to get over him?

I am married and I liked someone a lot and I could not stop thinking about him but I had too because I was married and have five kids. Plus he was my husband's friend. But I had to think about all the bad things about this guy to get him out of my mind. Like me I just had this crush so I could do it.

I know it is hard but you can not stop thinking about someone you love. It isn't as easy as that. Don't fight it, read some romantic novels that remind you of him, make a nice meal that you will make for him when you get together again. Circumstances change so find ways for you not to get used to being without the other person.

well it would be a bit more helpful if i knew what the circumstances were but I dont so I am going to try and work with what I got.
I think you should get incolved with something that will keep you busy. My friends mom lost a daughter in my parking lot in a car accident in April and she does signature tags on the computer. That keeps her busy and she isnt constantly thinking about her daughter.I hope I helped.

You can't just cut thoughts out of your head and heart. You have to replace them with something else. Pick up a new hobby, visit friends you may have lost touch with, watch your favorite movies. Try to do some things you used to do before you fell in love with this person.

i feel exactly what you feel and believe me its soo hard , its like im going to be crazy. i tried to sleep and do other stuff but still she cant leave me mind. i think time can only make us forget. by the mean time find comfort within ur friends and if you have little bros and sisters it will help you be occupied for a while. but you will still think about that person no matter what its not an overnight thing that you can get over with. damn i miss her.

Try watching shows about wild life or something.

I have the same problem. But when I try to get over it I start to watch Animal Planet. It feels better to think about something other than you.

Get up early and work all day. Do something productive to keep yourself occupied. Then when you get home, you can fall directly asleep. Exhausted, busy people do not have time to worry about things.

You can't completely stop thinking about that person, but you can do things to distract you. You can get more involved with your work or pick up a hoby or something.
