If you believe he is still around than he may be. I believe in souls or ghosts whatever you wish to call them. My poppy died almost 20 years ago, I'm 28 now, I have been in my own home for the past 4 years. And I know that he stops in every once in a while because I smell his pipe. I know it sounds weird and I'm sure many of you reading this are probably mocking me, but it's true.
We live in a smoke free home, and I don't know anyone these days that smoke a pipe.
So what I'm really saying to you is that your father is probably checking up on you making sure everything is good.

In your heart and in your memories he is still there. My mom died 8 years ago and I do feel her presence but I think it is just the warmth that she gave out when she was alive and it is still with me. I hope your relationship was good with your dad so this feeling you are probably having comes from a loving place.

you did not even need to ask this question because you have sensed his pressence around you,even more so during the Holidays.I get the feeling like your Dad was very close to you and treated you like his little princess.He often moves objects around,turns on and off lights,and you often get a sense someone is looking over your shoulder,your Dad has made many visits to you and has indeed crossed over and is at peace.Ask the Lord to guide him home,rest assured they do see us from heaven and he will always be part of you.

No way to know for sure if a spirit follows you, but certainly his values and whatever knowledge he passed on to you and your family are ways to carry on his existence.

Very likely. Souls can be attracted to people from their former lives that think about them. I talk to my grandma from time to time and my husband thinks he feels his dad every now and then.
