well what u can do is take besan flour ie chik pea flour add sandlewood powder and turmeric- for every 3 tbsp of flour take 1 tsp of turmeric( not the one u use in food but wat u get in aurvedic stores ) add rose water, mix it and then apply on ur hands and legs ( works well on dark underarms area too) . keep it till it dries off completely. now for removing it take a soft towel and rub the dried flour directly off the skin with gentle motion. for ur face just wet ur face and remove the paste with ur fingertips.
this pack helps in removing dead skin, the sandl wood powder makes the skin fairer while the turmeric has anti biotic property and also makes the skin glow. results will be seen in 20 days

hope it helps:-)

Start using a sunscreen whenever u go out, even in winter. Make a paste of sandalwood powder, milk and lemon juice and apply on the areas. Wash off when dry.Do this every alternate day or thrice a week. U can also use grated coconut- it has a natural bleaching effect, on the tanned areas. Whatever remedy u follow, just do it regularly.

Do you mean taking off spray on tan stuff? A real tan you're kinda stuck with until it fades. I get spray-on stuff off by scrubbing really well with a soapy loofah (or anything with a slightly abrasive surface meant to flake off dry, dead skin). Also, that sort of body wash that has the sort of hard, sandy-like minerals in it for dry skin works well too. I've also noticed that certain types of oily lotions take fake tans right off-- they kind of eat right through it. Not the most reliable method but I'd thought I'd share anyway.

I would suggest applying curd mixed with lemon juice to the tanned areas. Keep it on for about 20 mins and then rinse off. You could do this once a day. Curd helps to brighten the skin tone, and lemon juice acts as a natural bleaching agent, hence lightening the skin color.
